HELP!!! Fog lights....LED DRL Fogs vs. Projector Fogs w/ Halo

Looking for some opinion on my next mod...

I want to install some fogs on my FR-S but cannot decide which to get...I've narrowed it down to
a. The LED (DRL) fog light strip that is being sold by multiple vendors here
Example : http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36826

or b

b. Nigel-JDMs fog lights (projector with halo ring)
Found here: http://www.nigel-jdmparts.com/toyota...with-ccfl-ring

I cannot find a single picture with an FRS/BRZ/86 having the projector fogs w/ halo so it's really hard for me to compare...

What do you guys think? Anyone have any experience that can weigh the pros/cons? I definitely want a fog light that can run as a DRL when my headlights are off and get brighter when I need them to (either via switch/stalk/headlight ON)

Any help is appreciated! I have yet to post a topic on this forum without getting awesome some awesome feedback so I'm interested to hear what you guys have to say.

I'm really looking forward to hearing some insights from the other members about this actually too. I messaged nigel a while back in regards to the two fog light housings on the site (halo and no halo) to try and see if they're made out of the same composite housing as the 2013 outback fog lights which would let me know if I could use HIDs in them or not.. Never got a response however..

I think the halo ones wouldn't look that bad in my opinion however. Wanted them for my brz but with all the different lighting that I had its quite hard to know if it'll match up or not. The led drl and the led boomerang may conflict with the CCFL halo ring to show too many different brightnesses/shades of white ?

Yeah I want a good functional fog light but also want them to have some sexiness to them...Afraid the halos will look too "rice" but if they're subtle they could be just enough...

Really won't be able to decide until I see them on the car

Well the CCFL would be more of a smoother light output than if they were LED halos, so I could imagine they would still be a bit subtle and not too ricey .... Many would however oppose to that statement and call it straight rice but hey, to each their own correct ?

Imo leave the halos to bmw. The led strip looks funny with how big the bezel is. Go with regular fogs. I have hids in my fogs and I love it. Again all just my opinion.
