Don't expect acceptable service from Wilwood

I ordered replacement rotors through a parts supplier. The order clearly had the distinct rotors listed. After disassembling my brakes I realized they sent me two of the same side. The rotors were worn enough where it wouldn't be safe to reinstall. So my car has been on jack stands for days.

I talked with the supplier and Wilwood directly. Wilwood gave great lip service but my parts supplier POC said they ignored my phone call. Wilwood asked me to send them pics which I did immediately (so they could see where the problem initiated from). They told me they missed the cut off for expedited service and would overnight the next day.

I took the day off from work to be home so I could sign for it. After the UPS guy came by and I didn't receive anything I contacted both the supplier and Wilwood direcly. Wilwood gave me the tracking number and said it send yesterday. The shipment indicated UPS GROUND!!! (from California). My parts guy called and said they denied agreeing to overnight the shipment and they don't have the authority to do so.

This was their mistake and they refuse to fix it as agreed upon!

I have never bashed any vendor on here, I've had my share of delays and shipping mistakes, but I explicitly told them my situation and they agreed to making it right. They have failed. SHAME on Wilwood.

I basically got the FU from Wilwood, they feel like they did their job (which clearly wasn't service).

Anyways, I should also say that my experience with the parts supplier (Scoggin ****ey Parts Center) was excellent. They really helped me out trying to get this resolved.
