Did they fix the 2014?

Ok, i got to fessup. I totaled out my 2013 a month ago. And will be getting a new BRZ . But, did Subaru fix the crickets in the motor and the popping from the rear deck? And I'm thinking of waiting till the January in case Subaru mite sneak a STI or convertible out.
Any thoughts and input would be helpful.
Thanks....

Buy a Camry. They sorted out of the bugs years ago.

They havent gotten them fixed to my knowledge and i wouldnt expect a big difference or STI in the near future. Might want to look for a good price on 13. But hey always hope maybe there will be a STI

If you buy from Clint at Heuberger Subaru you will get a good deal on a 2013 or 2014, just saying.

They didn't even fix the tail light condensation issue lmao let alone the crickets. There is a new pump out though! Mine should be in this week but no reliable word yet on if this one will be any good, just lots of hope.

I got my 2013 about 2-3 weeks ago...

Got a really great deal on it too. I got a Limited for less than a 2014 Premium.

So there is that.

Unsure about STI version...

I have to admit...if an STI comes out and it isn't too much...I may consider trading my Limited in for one in a few years (before I mod the heck out of it).

Hmmm, I have a 13 and havent had any problems with condensation yet. *knocks on wood*. There are some small bugs that they have been able to work out from early build number 2013s to even late build number 2013s and obviously 2014. Seems like there is quite a decrease in the rough idle issue to name one.

Crickets, unfortunately, I think are here to stay for awhile. But that's okay. Thats why there is adjustable volume

Man, my BRZ just has so many problems I can't even stand driving it every day, down the windy backroads, at speed, playing my favorite song on the radio, snicking through the gears....

What was I complaining about again?

This is about how I feel.

However I personally never had the rear deck issues... I have a mid year 2013 model.

Yes they did fix the crickets but I don't know if they are releasing the 2014 with the fix already in place.

If they didn't: just ask them to fix it, not that hard.

I bought my car the end of May, and it was built in February. I have had no tail light condensation issues and no rear deck popping. I did have crickets and peeling steering wheel along with a loose homelink mirror.

The mirror was addressed by my dealer in ~30 minutes, the steering wheel and fuel pump in about ~6 hours. The worst thing I can say about the experience is that they washed my car my car despite being told not to.

What a terrible, unreliable car.

July 2012 car here, never had the condensation.

Crickets came at 3k but are gone some of the time now... I don't really think about them much anymore, the driving is still just as fun though.
