Hey was this a direct plug and play swap with our BRZ Sport Tech head unit? Or did you need additional cables?

I also have the stock deck with NAV that came with BRZ [Pioneer AVIC-X9310BT] It was the first thing I pulled from car as I have no use for NAV

Also picked up an adapter kit from Beat-Sonic and used all the harnesses that came with the new head unit

btw I have an extra adapter kit for whoever buys this

I don't remember, as I installed all new cables that came with new deck and pulled the stock ones out to go with the NAV if and when I sold it, but as mentioned earlier, it will include all cables and an adapter kit so this head unit will most definitely work with your stock setup

Pardon my lack of knowledge...

Does that stock brz head unit plug into the frs harness?

One thing I hate about my frs is not having navigation. I constantly have to look down at my iPhone for directions...

All you would need a harness adaptor kit to plug it into your stock setup

I believe the default code is either 00000 or 11111

I tried that and it didn't work. The dealership told me if the default didn't work, I would have to replace the unit entirely, so its basically an expensive paper-weight stuck inside of my dash.

I'm going to try to put it into test mode and see what I can do from there..
