What is your progression with Toyotas?

First Corolla 1988 GL 1.6 ... Once got 700km on a tank.

Second Corolla RSi original 20 valve. This one still had the 5 speed gearbox. She was like a go cart, but unfortunately got hijacked.

Third Corolla RXi 20 Valve Black Top with 6 speed gearbox. I still have this car and use it for some other more practical purposes.

I was quite a fan of the 4A-GE derivatives.

Unfortunately missed out on the MR2 .... But man, am I in love with my spanking new 86 High MT

What will be next? Dare I dream ... A Lexus LFA? (Would really have to break the bank for that one!)

This is only my 2nd Toyota. My toyota first was my first car, a 1990 Celica GT hatch 5spd. Thing was the biggest piece of crap and the motor blew in a few months of me owning it but I sure did love it lol.

if you had asked me a year ago i would have said an alfa 4C but the production model doesn't seem to live up to the expectations i had from the concept model. I tend to have some kind of internal 'value for money' balance that is hard to please...
my latest thoughts are leaning towards a porsche cayman...

First and last. Will probably stick with German from here on out. Nothing particularly wrong with the FRS, I just don't feel like I'm driving a 26k car everyday. Where I coulda gotten a lightly used Golf R, A4, 370Z, or 328i for the same price and felt the complete opposite. No more Toyotas.

Have a Lexus IS and owned lots of BMW's. GT86 aside, Toyota gave me no compelling reason to even walk into their showrooms, so the 86 will be my first Toyota (Lexus, aside).

First and only Toyota before the 86 was a Conquest 1300S.

I find it interesting that the FR-S was the first of my Toyota products that I took to the service department for warranty work. That was only for a rattle in the package shelf area. None of the previous Toyotas ever showed the slightest of problems.

The 86 is my second Toyota. Previously had a '94 MR2 - what a brilliant little car that was although it had the world's most uncomfortable seats. Still miss it.
