Anyone have an Invidia N1 with a Front Pipe?
Title is quite self explanatory but, does anyone have an Invidia N1 with a front pipe? I'm asking this because I want to do a similar set up in the future and I'm somewhat concerned about the combination of the two being too loud. I'll be daily driving with this set up! I'm content with the noise and slight (not that much imo) drone of the Invidia N1. ALSO, if anyone has an Invidia N1, any front pipe, and a mid pipe?!
Should I go towards the Invidia Q300 + front pipe instead? By the way, I live in NorCal so I'm minutely concerned about the possibility of cops pulling me over if I do go for a N1 + a front pipe set up. Thanks guys, enjoy your day!

Most guys say the n1 with the front pipe is to much for most, but everyone has a take on what's loud and tolerable. I know most guys wanting to get a exhaust for a dd the will lean towards the q300 with the front pipe, looks good sounds good and not to loud. There are plenty of YouTube videos to compare the two and you will get some drone with the n1 none with the q300. Hope that helps

I got an N1 with a front pipe. It's loud at first, but start to quiet down after all the carbon build up on the pipe walls. It's has been my DD for about 8 months and I'm more than used to it.

That's awesome that you dd with that the N1 + front pipe set up. Have you had any trouble with the cops? And where abouts in California are you? Norcal or Socal?

I have the N1 with a catted, Berk front pipe. There is a bit of drone as you'd expect with the N1. I don't find it to be too loud, but I've recently gotten complaints of my car being too loud in my neighborhood, even though I'm very careful around it. (When I'm coming home or leaving I just coast through). The particular frequency of the exhaust actually does resonate through my house, which doesn't help since my house is a floor above the garage. In any case, I love it, my girlfriend loves it, my family doesn't care, and my friends love it.
I haven't gotten pulled over even once yet either. Take this as you will! |

I have the N1 and just got the catted/resonated Nameless OP/DP combo installed and it completely killed the drone. I don't know how but it did. Cleaned up the exhaust note too, sounds fantastic now.
Oh, and just cruising around it didn't make it louder (thank gawd). Although above 4K its a little louder and backfires a bit more (which is nice). |

I don't have a front pipe but I am running UEL headers with the N1and it sounds amazing. Ive had cops driving near me but havent got pulled over (knocks on wood). As long as you're being a responsible driver, you have nothing to worry about

I was running a N1 + catless front pipe. It was loud but i dd it for months and just got used to it.
Now i have added a overpipe+OFH i have reassigned what loud actually is. Its would be way to loud for most in this config. Sounds great though |

Is there any way you can film some drive by or in cabin sound clips of your OFH + Invidia N1 combo? I've gotten a M7 T-Titanium Cat back (somewhat similar design to the Invidia N1, just without the resonator in the midpipe) since the creation of this thread and am curious of how an OFH + N1 would sound.
