Generic Fit Wing?

The ricer in me wants a big race style rear wing. However all the 86 designed ones are well over 1K AUD.

I'm looking at a few generic fit wings but have never had experience with them before and am worried about actually getting them onto the car.

Something like this. http://www.meganracing.com/product.a...d=609&catid=57

Does anyone have any experience with generic fit rear wings?

Wouldnt that be consider illegal in AU? I thought it was against the law to have any sharp corners on your vehicle lol?

Anyways all you do with those are drill holes and bolt it too the trunk so fitment isnt an issue. I wouldnt take the generic route but it all comes down to what youre willing to pay for. Maybe buy from one of our vendors and pay extra for international shipping? Most do ship internationally.

Since you're still jumbled up with thoughts, how about going for something unique and super nice rather than having a huge wing without the need for it?

Here's a GTR spoiler mounted on an FRS:

I really don't like the GTR wing, but to each their own I guess. Here is a list of ones you could consider and I'm sure there are more if you look:

Quite sure they mentioned something about a custom fit and having to drill holes into the trunk otherwise it should fit just fine.

Yea it looks close, but in the first post there's a picture that compares the base of the spoiler the part that hooks into the trunk and on the frs its a bit thicker and curved so idk if its the oem gtr wing or a modified version
