Better-Carbon CXP $300.00

From a pro tinting forum:
"Carbon shrinks great, has great adhesive..I don't really care for the color though. in certain conditions it looks black, in other conditions it looks really green. It has an ugly haze in direct sunlight from the inside. Scratch coat is sub par, and doesn't do very well at blocking heat imo either. I believe the quoted tser is way off...now cxp i do like for the heat blocking qualities but still has the haze and scratch issues..I generally use suntek hp, has decent exterior color and crystal clear from the inside, blocks alot of heat, shrinks great, and have only had 1 window come back for failure in the past 7 years"

lol that was me bro. just to give you some insight from my experiences, I've gotten the Suntek HP for three of my old cars and now the carbon series for the frs. imo, the color doesn't look "green" or "hazy" at all, it actually looks really smooth and pitch black. when it comes to the heat, let's face it living in md with 90 degree weather and 85% humidity is gonna make your car hot regardless lol

the reason why I choose to upgrade to the carbon series as opposed to suntek is cause at performance, the carbon comes with a lifetime warranty against fading (in addition to peeling and bubbling that suntek does). i'll be happy to take some pics this weekend to give you some perspective on how it looks on mine. I got 18% all around and in the two times i've been pulled over the cop never once mentioned tints as an issue.

they're a little pricey but they do a good job and provide that warranty..i'm all about competition though cause that's healthy for our economy as consumers so if you can find a place to do it for cheaper and still do a good job, shop around. in case you use them, this is a $20 coupon i get from them monthly to help you save some moolah

Nice, thanks for the feedback and the coupon hookup. I'm going to do tint sooner than later. I have tinted previous cars but have always used 3M. I had never heard of this particular brand.
