Any help much appreciated!

I've recently got a new custom header back system. ( High flow cat, Resonator) with TRD jp muffler.

Would i need to do a retune/reflash ?

Not looking for performance gains, just dont want to ruin my car. Thanks

You won't ruin your car, at least not by getting an exhaust system.

Agreed, but considering the modification, a retune/reflash wouldn't be such a bad idea.

You're fine, although I would recommend a tune if you decide to go for headers

Getting a tune will be the best money you'll spend on the car N/A. Even if you don't care about the performance gains, it makes the car so much smoother, more responsive and enjoyable to drive even at part throttle. It's also safer, as at least I was seeing significant amounts of knock on the stock tune, and now zero after going aftermarket. FA20Club, Visconti, Moto-Mike, etc all offer plug'n'play tunes that are very easy to install and have significant gains.

Lots of threads out here discussing the benefits. Guaranteed you won't regret it.

It's not required though for your headerback exhaust. Definitely recommended if you put a header on at a later date.
