Tomorrow: First HPDE in BRZ. Any tips?
Tomorrow is my first HPDE in my BRZ. I've previously done HPDE four times in my old Lotus Elise and one time in my VW R32. I put on mild track pads and replaced the brake fluid with high temp goodness, plus my car is modded with nearly everything (see build thread). Anything I should be careful of or pay attention to with the car? I was planning on running in VSC Sport mode just so I don't slide into a wall but I'm guessing running with it off I'd be ok as well since my Lotus didn't have any fancy gadgetry except ABS. Didn't even have power steering, one reason I miss it. I only spun the Lotus when the track was wet, so since it will be dry tomorrow I'm sure nothing bad will happen. I also have an oil cooler on the BRZ which I'll finally be able to put to the test!
This may be the last track day my RE-11s have in them, maybe one more after this.

I think you'll be fine with everything off. If you were able to handle a lotus, you'll be able to more than handle a BRZ.

Don't forget your helmet and a tire pressure gauge! And make sure you don't set your ebrake when you come off track
But other than that, have fun out there!
