Where do you keep your revs?

I'm curious on how you guys and ladies "drive" the car..

The reason I'm asking was that today I basically just used 2 and 3rd gear today keeping the revs up...No highway driving, just enjoying the weather driving around. I basically used 2 to get to the posted speed limit and 3 as my overdrive lol. The revs fell in the 3-4k range. The carjust felt comfortable keeping the revs up and I'm wondering how many keep the revs up like that in normal daily driving. Up to this point I would keep the revs under 3k for the most part unless I'm driving for fun. I understand that there will be more wear and tear doing that...(Gas Adv 24 mpg)

Thanks

Usually, by the time I hit 60 km/h (or ~37 mph), I'm in 6th, keeping my revs just under 2k rpms, but that's because I have the TRD exhaust and CAI so anything higher than 2k rpms makes others around me think I'm being a poser and trying to race people.
It usually results in trucks and BMWs go WOT around me lol and I'm not even racing them lol.
Being that low in the revs does reduce available power though, so I have to downshift if I need to speed up quickly. However, there are times were I just cruise in 3rd or 4th to keep the revs up higher and listen to that exhaust with the windows down, and that's fun too. Mostly I'm trying not to be a gas guzzler though so the higher the gear, the better. That's just me though.

TLDR; depends on my mood. High gear and low revs when I'm not trying to attract attention or douchebags. Low gear and high revs when I'm trying to enjoy my car to the fullest.

Yeah I don't want to give the poser look either. That being said I think when your just cruising and doing that people might just think "because racecar"??? Our car at least looks like it should be making some noise lol
I think Iv been watching too many lotus videos and they always drive the car high in the rev range when just cruising. The car just seem to enjoy the high revs tho..

In traffic (by traffic I mean enough cars on the road to get in my way) I keep her shifting around 2-3k.

All other times 5k+ until I hit 6th gear.

Nothing aggravates me more than feeling the gawddang torque dip. Cant wait to get my tune (and hopefully headers).

when you say rev it all up...what do you mean? You keep it up 5k+ consistently? I kept it in 3rd gear most of the time today because I felt 2 gear would keep the revs 5k plus would truly kill gas mileage and might be a little loud. lol
