FA20Club questions

Hey guys, I have looked at fully blown turbo, Greddy, even Vortech super charger, but I think I have decided on FA20Club turbo. I still have questions about the turbo and about how to really boost my car. @FA20Club.com

Questions
1) I am wondering what is the highest boost you can run on pump gas with your turbo and what numbers are we talking about?

2) Do you think that Water methanol injectors would work well for daily use with your turbo?

I am shooting for around 400whp and I am lost on how to reach these kinda numbers safe enough to daily the car. I have no access to E85 and any help with my questions is greatly appreciated.

Safe is relative. This topic is discussed through all too many threads in this section with no right answer. If you have access to 93 it's likely you can achieve 300whp with the right tuning. If you're stuck with 91 like me, you're effed. I don't know of anyone pushing 400whp on pump gas, that's certainly E85 territory from what I've seen.

Just check out the build threads for those with the fa20club to figure out what seems safe to you.

I am not sure that WMI will be enough to add in the timing and boost needed to get to 400 whp without a large turbo. If 400 whp is the goal, I would drop in some low compression pistons and go to town.

@brocktwalker @FA20Club.com doesnt have a WMI setup with failsafe available at this point in time. Thats doesnt mean you couldnt use some other shops setup.

Even on e85 you will have to build the engine to run 400whp safely.

I could get to 330. Pay the turbo off and get a second loan for built internals

My think is what kinda numbers could I get on pump 93 with built internals from dynosity and FA20club turbo kit? The total would be about 10 grand plus vehicle I am looking at a 35,000 car. Am I going to get the numbers that a car should at that price range. I could 2JZ but I don't want that I want the FA20 motor. To me it is cooler to have the built motor than to just swap it and say I got high numbers. More pride with the FA20.

If I could afford it I would move just to be in reach of E85 so I could boost with stock internals. 330whp would be nice for a beginner to sports cars. And I could save and just gradually work my way.

He said you have to build it to make it reliable and I think he is right. upgrading the baseline parts of your motor is probably a smart idea for it to handle an extra 265hp at the wheels
