Oil cooler with filter relocation, thoughts?

So I've been looking at the mocal kit that @F1point4 put together as well as the Mishimoto and I found this one.

http://www.godspeedproject.com/Oil-C...relocation-kit

It is similar to the Griffon kit where the lines point upwards only this relocates the filter.

So the idea is this...

Line from the oil filter thread, to the oil filter, from the oil filter to the radiator, from the radiator to the oil filter thread.

This would let you locate the oil filter lower in the engine bay, say around the ABS, stick the radiator in the drivers side fender area (removing or getting a smaller washer fluid tank), and give you the room needed to change air filters.

What are your thoughts on this kit? There is no thermostat so get a radiator sweater for the winter.

As a bonus you can attach an oil pressure and oil temp probe to the filter.

Subbed for R&D on a twin’s application. For the price point...it may be a good set-up if not alot of investment is needed.

I did a remote mount filter on one, as well added a very large cooler. total system requires roughly 8 quarts of oil to fill from empty. The only reason we did this was do to spacing by the turbo. If it is an option I would recommend trying to keep the filter were it is for keeping servicing easy. Also please keep in mind the quality of the products you are using. Godspeed may be a some what well know brand, but it is well known for typically selling very cheap stuff mad in China. Also keep in mind this is your oiling system and the last thing I would use a cheap product on is that, it is the blood of your engine so to speak. Mocal, Griffin, Setrab on the other hand is a very good products.

The Godspeed kit is very low quality and the more I look at it the more I like the Mocal kit. I just think the oil cooler have serious clearance issues, even the ones designed for our cars.

We need something like this:

The tap is on the top, not the side. I'm still researching stuff to find something that isn't such a tight squeeze.

Why can't you just use a banjo bolt with the mocal kit?

You can probably just use a 90 degree or 45 degree angled connector, like pictured, I was just trying to source other options.
