Who bought their brz out of state?

I been around this forum for sometime now and I was planning on purchasing my brz from out of state dealership due to the lame price in SoCal.

Anyone bought their brz out of state and worried about rust corrison? you know.. how the other states lay salt on the road due to snow..

Am i being paranoid? I'm pretty sure I am.....
Just reassure me....lol....

Coming from S-Chasis scene.......

my previous car.... enjoy....

Why would you worry about road salt if you're buying a new car?

I got my car out of state. It had 12 miles when it arrived here so I don't think there could be any rusting consequences. I also bought it from Arizona where I don't think they salt the roads often.

^^^ it's not a "I don't think" issue. More of a, there is no rust problem issue.

If you're so paranoid about rust, just wash the car after you get it back. The only people with rust problems on cars are the ones that don't take care of them, and let salt sit and collect on paint.

When my BRZ came to California, a year ago from Massachusetts, it had 9 miles. The only thing I worried about was my paint getting damaged. You shouldn't worry about rust if you buy new.
