Interior panel removal question

I'm installing my boost gauge with the dcw pod and I'm wondering how to take off the top part that's on the dash right above the gauge cluster ( the part some people remove and make it suade). Is there one screw going up into it then it comes off or is it more complicated?

Just the one screw and pull up and toward you and it should slide right off.
