Heavy use interior protection question.

So I drive the car a lot, but that's no big deal. The concern I have is without how I use it because I manage a territory. So on top of putting on lots of miles on it I'm in and out of the car about 10-15 times a day, which also includes getting to stuff in the rear seats and opening the trunk 10-15 times a day.

So with other cars I've owned I know that batteries tend to die a little sooner (so what), I might have to replace a starter prematurely (oh well) and some of my electronic actuators might have to be replaced 50k miles sooner (trunk, windows etc) but I'm concerned about premature wear on the interior.

-Wearing out the fabric on the seat
-Wearing out the seat bolster
-Scuffing the door (speaker panel) with my foot going in and out.

I guess maybe I could either consider a custom seat cover or just set money aside for the future when I need to have the seat reconditioned.

What says the audience? How would you protect your new car under this type of use?

Id get custom car covers made of a durable leather (not the pleather thats in there now). This will protect your seats as long as you have them installed. With a hem cutter you can cut a hem and pull the leather covers right off or even have a zipper. They might even beable to match the current color sheme so it looks like the stock car. These covers i speak of are your car specific and look 100% stock. Not some cheap slip on covers.

Look up the aerospace (303 rocks for plastics) product line, it offers much more protection and function than most 'all show' products. Good luck
