Any tips for getting rid of sun baked tree droppings off Opt-coat?
Hi,
Anyone have tips for getting rid of sun baked tree droppings off Opt-coat? A tree I park under dropped some debris on my car and it's tough as hell to get off. My car has been opti-coated from the beginning. Is there anything I can use thats tough enough to get the debris off without stripping the Opti-Coat off? thanks a heap!! alex:happy0180: |

tree droppings!? you mean sap!? acetate would do. I'd mix water with it just in case so you can slowly take it off.
good luck. |

Clay bar and any citrus based tar remover will help. I'd try to steer away from any solvents as it could harm the OptiCoat.

Have you given it a dawn wash yet?
Start with the least agressive method first, a good degreasing washing. Then we can ramp up on the agressive scale. Acetate I would wait...... ![]() Cheers, GREG
