Road trip to Disneyworld from Ohio
Hey all, got a family trip to Disneyworld planned for October. The wife's family makes it a yearly thing and I've managed to avoid going for the 8 years we've been married. She finally wore me down this year and I agreed to go, with the stipulation that I get to drive down (they fly). I plan to leave a couple days early and hit some good scenic roads, maybe hit the Blue Ridge Parkway or something, I don't know. I was hoping to get some suggestions. Thanks.

The Tail of the Dragon is a bit out of the way but it is worth the detour. Every sports car person or motorcycle enthusiast should do it at least once. 388 turns in 11 miles but they have recently lowered the speed limit down to 30 MPH and there is a lot of law enforcement present during the day. After 7PM there is much less traffic and LEOs. Google or Youtube it to get an idea what it is all about. Some of the other roads in that area are almost as good and are much less traveled.

Plenty of roads in KY, TN, NC, northern GA.
Once you get to Florida stock up on the red bulls, roads are beyond boring.

Thanks guys. Debating on whether to head down through the mountains and hit the Dragon, or head over to the coast and go that route.
