Need opinions please. square v stagger /17x9 vs 18

Hey guys, I just sold my g35 and kept the rims. The rims are SSR Type C 18x8.5/9.5 (drilled to 5x114) (+22 offset i believe)

Option 1: Keep the wheels, spend money on different rubber and spacer w hub conversion

Option 2: Save for something 17x9/5x100 with proper offset?

Can you anyone with 18's chime in on their track experiences? Much appreciated guys!

If it were me, I'd go for something made for the car. Depends on if you want to chase that hellaflush look I suppose. The thinnest adapters I've seen were +10. So are you going to be able to fit a 8.5/9.5" wide wheel with a +12 offset? I'd imagine you'll need a ton of camber or fender work.

18x9.5 +12 will be a bitch to fit. Extreme camber, tire stretch and fender pull. I like stance and everything but for this car, I feel like 17s just work so much better. Specially in the front. I used to run 18s on past cars and once I went to 17s in the front, I never went back.

The big question s what do you want to do with your car? What is your overall goal?
