Need opinions please. square v stagger /17x9 vs 18
Hey guys, I just sold my g35 and kept the rims. The rims are SSR Type C 18x8.5/9.5 (drilled to 5x114) (+22 offset i believe)
Option 1: Keep the wheels, spend money on different rubber and spacer w hub conversion Option 2: Save for something 17x9/5x100 with proper offset? Can you anyone with 18's chime in on their track experiences? Much appreciated guys! |

If it were me, I'd go for something made for the car. Depends on if you want to chase that hellaflush look I suppose. The thinnest adapters I've seen were +10. So are you going to be able to fit a 8.5/9.5" wide wheel with a +12 offset? I'd imagine you'll need a ton of camber or fender work.

18x9.5 +12 will be a bitch to fit. Extreme camber, tire stretch and fender pull. I like stance and everything but for this car, I feel like 17s just work so much better. Specially in the front. I used to run 18s on past cars and once I went to 17s in the front, I never went back.
The big question s what do you want to do with your car? What is your overall goal?
