BRZ - US navi HU compatible with Canadian Pioneer HU?

Just wondering if it would possible (I.e. plug and play) to swap the US BRZ head unit into a Canadian BRZ? Are the harnesses the same?

The reason I ask, is that I'm hoping the new 2014 unit with aHa will be backwards compatible with the current US navi HU (as it seems the 2014 FRS is pretty much a straight swap). If it is, that would make for an easy swap to Canaian BRZ's as well.

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure my unit has aha.... although I've never downloaded the app to my phone. What am I missing here? Why do you need the 2014 HU?

Take at look at the new Forester HU that is what should be coming to the BRZ. More OEM look and more features.
