New Oem Headunit for the Fr-s?

I just looked online to the scion website and there are 2 new head units, an upgraded touchscreen one and a new bespoke with aha. It cost more but it has on board navigation so no need for the stupid bespoke app that doesn't work. Does anyone know if I can return my old one and just pay the difference since it seems like they're not going to update the app or do anything with the original bespoke head unit?

unfortunately you're 99% likely to be SOL. generally speaking the return policy on electronics is "no return." the dealer can't resell it, and they cant just send it back to the mfg and get their money back. not to mention the fact that the 2014 radio is NOT a recommended part number for your 2013 anyway.

like i told someone else already, if you really want the new head unit, sell your bespoke on ebay ASAP before everyone else starts doing the same thing, then just buy the 2014 head unit. i can get you a head unit for about $500 shipped (or just look online and you can find em for about $525-560 + shipping).

you may be able to get almost that much for your bespoke unit.

Thank you for the information! Yeah I'm trying to sell it on craigslist and I'll try ebay but most likely the people who didn't buy it originally probably wouldn't want to buy a used one. Dang. I am not a fan of my dealership. They promised upgraded bespoke app and all this other jazz.

you should easily get $500 for it on ebay. there's a lot of people that bought the car as is from the dealer with the standard audio that would like the upgrade.
