Yellow dots on front bumper??

So I just figured out that there are a bun of yellow dots on my front bumper that I can't get it out. I try to wash it, wax, or quick detail it but it seem like in the paint and won't come off. Any idea how to get it off??

I'd try goo-gone. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure.

Do a search, this has been covered a whole bunch. Look under posts for brown spots, Iron-X, spots on bumper etc.

DO NOT use on brake pads and rotors. brush onto rims and don't spray on.
You can spray on the rest of the car though :-)

May I ask why ? The only problem I've had in the couple of years with Iron-X is the turning of wheel weights purple which wipes off easily. I have NOT used on any carbon fiber rotors to date.

There is Iron in the brake pads and rotors. Iron-X can cause damage to both since it dissolves iron.

It's just best to keep the stuff away from them :-)

It's not from bird droppings? I have a couple that I missed for a couple days that left a stain on the paint.

I clay bar these spots on my whiteout and it usually gets it out. I would say 1 out of every 20 spots don't come out the first time, so I would just clay bar the same spot next day and it usually takes care of it.

I also searched and searched to solve this issue on my White Pearl BRZ. From what I gatherer, it looks like bug poop. Don't really worry too much about them, do your normal washing, clay and then let it sit in the sun. Before I had a chance to wash the car, I let the car sit in the sun and the yellow spots shrunk 30-50% their size.

AMAZING, I know, but it's a detailers secret apparently.

That's some funny stuff there. Try going to Radio Shack and buying a magnifier to check and see what it really is. Automotive paint producers have told manufacturers for years about above surface contaminates and rail dust and how to treat it. But bug poop that effects painted surfaces all across the united States ? So a car that sits out in the summer heat at over 100 degrees should never have rust blooms (bug poop). OK. Just remember paint swells with heat and maybe those spots are effected by that and really are still there. hmmmm....
