Modify Preload on Brand new Coilvers or Leav Alone? Measurement to get 1 finger Gap?

i have my new coils (stance) coming in tomorrow and before install, i was planning to leave the preload alone and not modify it. Do you guys normally modify this or leave it as is? I feel like if I touch it, i might mess up haha. Im planning to have a 1 finger gap between the tire and fender, any suggested measurements on the gap between the height adjustment perch and the preload lock perch to achieve this?

Well I got the bc set and I never adjusted the preload. But I'm thinking the preload should already be set out of the box for stance as well

BC coilovers definitely do not come pre-set, and I wouldn't think the Stance do either. It is always recommended to check your preload before installing. It is very simple to do with coilovers new and off the car.

I just installed my BC Extreme Low coils, and the instructions from BC say not to mess with pre-load as they are set from factory. You should only have to adjust the ride height adjuster perch.
