nut is required only to fix cable support on top and washers between the 2 nuts.

Next time I wish to realize a dream of my life rather than BRZ..., USA east coast to west trip.....better than a lot of these gadgets

I saw the europe LHD engine bay...and it seems more similar to japanese one about wiring. Maybe the third connection harness is related to several mandatory europe directions.
This is the mine, just out of custom in Livorno, last week. In Italy we have one unique option: colour.
