As the thread title says, is there any information indicating that a BRZ STi will come to our shores or at least STi parts such as STi front lip/STi brakes and the like???

Subaru sells STI parts at the dealers but the prices are not cheap.
Gear knob for WRX STI is like $200+, front lip is like $800. U can have a look if u try their "build & price your Subaru" feature on the website, it's at the end under "select your accessories". |

Cheers guys!
Hrmm expensive eh? I did a quick conversion of some parts and they didn't seem that expensive, can't remember the numbers though. Would it be cheaper to buy the parts from JPN and ship it here? |

But short answer, yes. It will be cheaper to import than to buy through a dealer here.

I'm under the impression that Subaru will probably gauge how many BRZs they sell this year. Then take it from there. But I'm assuming that STI parts will be available as well.

Love to know if there was an STi on the way as well but don't suppose they will let that slip as presumably there's lots of people like you and I who will hold off buying a BRZ if there is!
Hard to know what is happening with Subaru now - will the BRZ and STi BRZ replace the WRX/STi based on Impreza, or will there be all four available, or some variation in between... Like you, I hope the STi parts are available at least... At the very least need something to replace those disgusting alloys they have on it in all the photos to date! |

Alloys are easy to replace dude... Work, volk, enkei, etc all make better rims than any stock options...
Swaybars, coilovers, bracing... That's the sort of stuff we need
