defective tailights.
So when I bought the frs in march I was told I got the "newer" taillights, today I went to look at the car and I have condensation in BOTH my lights Lmfao!
New taillights are coming in on Thursday, which is surprisingly quick. My question is can I keep the old lights that have condensation? I'd love to open them up and stuff? I heard we have the option to give it up, or keep our "broken" parts

No, they won't give you the tail lights if they are replacing it under warranty. I tried with mine.

they'll keep them - per my toyota guy, they have to send them back to toyota as a warrantied item. if it's any comfort to you, mine have condensation after replacing under the TSB, too. haha

I used a set of new gaskets from a forum member that was cutting them and went a lol heav on the 3m weather adhesive but no problems since. Over 2 months of rain and car washing and not a drop.

Hmm well I spoke to Toyota and I used to pay someone to get my tail lights vinyled. So I asked them if I can spray them and they said it's no problem as long as you don't open them.

There is part of the rear metal frame behind the lights that need to be modified or bent, as apart of their install guide/TSB. They now claim that is the cause.
