Substitute tie rod ends

as you can see in the pic below, the tid rod ends just hit the inside of the wheel at full lock. I have driven many thousands of ks and hadn't noticed it until today.

I reckon there would be something else available that would easily fit, it's just a matter of finding it, something like in the other pic below...

has anyone had this issue before?

does anyone know of any aftermarket or alternate OEM tie rod ends that will suit whilst allowing more room or the wheel at full lock?

You really needed +38 wheels I think. Spacers are illegal so you might need to get another pair of wheels. Sell the fronts you have. Or get narrower rims

They're illegal in Australia??? That's a bit extreme.

They only come in +45 or +35. It is a tough call.
The +35 poke horrendously on std height which is illegal.
The +35 increase track more than 25mm which is also illegal.

The 8inch +45 are really the best RPF1 option. They just don't look as nice.

Wait so a wide body kit with respective wheels counts as illegal too? Harsh

same as the +45, ie, no "dish" or "lip" nor does it exude "concavity" !

I may buy a full set of 8 inch +45s if I can find anyone interested in a staggered set I could sell off.
