H&R Supersports Installed...

I didn't see a bunch of thread on the Supersports, just one or two reviews, so I figured for $220 I would try them out. Everyone seems to love the eibachs, but I have a thing for German things and I've always like h&r.

I bought the springs from FT86speedfactory last Sunday, got them yesterday and installed them today. Install took about an hour. Only used a spring compressor for the old springs.

I lowered the car off the lift and immediately fell in love! The 4x4 wheel gap is gone and the car looks much more aggressive and how it should have come. I've had only BMWs until now, and all on coilovers so that's what I'm basing my review off of. The car rides very similar to stock, with a tighter feel in the turns and a little more small bump sensitivity. I still think the car is very comfy for what it is. There are no weird noises or anything and the car has settled all the way.

So far I am very happy with the springs. They are my first mod on this car which just hit 1000 miles on Saturday. Next will be wheels and tires and the headers and tune etc...

Update: so it's been a few days, and I still love the springs! Haha

Measurements: from ground to front fender 25" exact/from ground to rear fender 25.5"

I've got my club auto cross on Saturday so I'll update after.

Here are the pics:

I am nearing 10,000 miles on my H&R Super Sports and the shocks are still lasting just fine.

I spaced and forgot to measure. It looks like it was about 1.5" all the way around though.

The car looks awesome lowered. I think thats the perfect drop.

Can you confirm whether or not the rear dropped lower than the fronts? All the websites lists the H&R Supersports dropping the car 1.2"Frt and 1.4Rr.

The sports have the same tendency of 1.0"Frt and 1.2"Rr.

If you have time, can you take a a few measurements for from the ground to the fenders. That would be awesome and greatly appreciated.

I've been wanting the H&Rs but I don't want the rear raked look.

Thanks

I'll definitely grab some measurements tomorrow at work. Do you know what stock heights are? So I can compare?

Sure thing.

I'll empty out my truck and take some numbers.

I will measure from the ground to the highest point on the fender (wheel well opening).
