ECU Mod Suggestions from Experienced BRZ owners

Hi, friends...I read several threads here on FT86 Forum. As I introduced myself shortly, I am in Italy and late in May my BRZ will come.
Here in Italy there isn't a wide experience and numbers of these managed engines for choosing an ECU fine tune. In Italy were sold only 150/170 GT86/BRZ in 2012. (There are more Ferrari and Maserati here!)
Usually in past I was (and I am) experienced on 1.4 T-jet Engine and BMW series 3 TD, but this FA is for me a matter to develop, to learn and to practice.
I'd like to know from you some suggestions to reach a moderate fine tune.
So I believe if I want a speeder car I'll buy a Porsche...rather then a 2.000 aspirated.
I'll drive mostly 80% urban/suburban (highway) and 20% fast track, track days. Gas only 98 or 100 Octane.
By the way I get a good knowledge and experience in tyres and brakes, suspension.

I am able to manage some ECU writers but all suggestions (ECU files, ECU modules or HW add-on) from you all are welcome.

Thanks to all

Cheers

(I hope to write a good English....)

FA20Club and Visconti seem to be some of the more popular ECUtek tuners on this forum. My understanding is ECUtek flashes the original ECU. You can search for more information. Good luck with your car!

There are only four options:

1) EcuTek remap of OE ECU (via an EcuTek dealer/tuner)
2) BRZEdit remap of OE ECU (Do it yourself or via a tuner)
3) Unichip (piggyback, limited functionality)
4) Change ECU to aftermarket.
