TuningPros lowering spring review

Ran across these while I was looking for some Tein's...

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/TuningPros-LS-117-B-Lowering-Springs-Blue/dp/B00BGIJOAM/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1364263703&sr= 1-1&keywords=TuningPros+Lowering+Springs+frs"]TuningPros LS-117-B Lowering Springs Kit Blue Set of 4 : Amazon.com : Automotive[/ame]

It's a set of 1" drop lowering springs by some unknown brand, TuningPros being sold for $119. I figured its going to be awhile till I save up enough $$ for the Tein's and I had an Amazon.com gift card so I decided to bite and try the springs out. By the way, it was "on sale" for $99 so with the gift card I only paid about $60.

They shipped fairly quick and I had the springs in a few days...

And here is what the springs look like:

compared to stock:

I've already installed the rear springs when I thought about taking photos so I don't have pictures of them. The box above is empty, but at least you get the picture lol(bad pun I know).

They installed just fine with no issues. I didn't think the back end would drop at all since the springs were similar in height(sorry for no pics) but it actually dropped about 1/2 to 3/4in from stock.

Well anyways, here are some before and after pics(the before was actually the day I bought my baby):

Before-

After-

After a week:

It didn't really drop that much more after a week tbh. More pics at sig.

After a week of driving on these springs, I haven't really noticed a big difference in ride comfort compared to stock. I was expecting the ride to be pretty bumpy like my Tiburon which has Eibach Sportlines but I cant really compare the two due to being two different cars and the sportlines were a 1.5 inch drop.

I can't really say much for handling performance since I don't track my car often enough to have any kind of knowledgeable input in how it handles
but for anyone looking to just lower their cars for aesthetic purposes I would definitely recommend this kit. You just cant beat the price. I paid $60(with the gift card I had and the sale) for these and the closest think to compare it to are the Eibach Pro's which goes for $250+. Even If I paid the $119, I wouldn't lose any sleep on it.

Hope this helps anyone interested in dropping their car!

Yup. 1" drop and drives like stock. Can't go wrong with that price. Got its first real test yesterday during the Mines rd. drive and they held up exceptionally well.
