Burnt smell coming from rear?

Car has about 300 miles and every time I park the car, I only smell a burning smell from the rear of the car. I've read that the smell could be the clutch breaking in, but I would think that it would be smelt towards the front of the car?
Just wondering, any insight would be appreciated

Hmm, could be the exhaust burning out the chemicals they coated it with during fabrication.

It's breaking in. Every new car I've ever owned has always had a burning smell that's gone away after a short period of ownership. Don't worry about it.

Cars that are shipped "across the pond" usually have their exposed metal parts coated with oil to help prevent rust from being exposed to the salt air on the ocean. It can take time for it to burn off every thing.
