RIP BRZ, fuel pump issue lead to car on fire

Just got back from Gresham Subaru to drop off my BRZ. I am completely disgusted with the quality of these cars now, and I won't recommend it to anyone who is considering buying this vehicle.

I've had the cricket syndrome under the hood for a long time, but this morning was unusually loud. I've read through the forums, and everyone agreed that it was a fuel pump issue, and that it does not affect the engine in a negative manner.

Well, the keyboard warriors were wrong. As the chirping noise increased, I stopped the car on the side of the free way, and notice some unusual burning smell coming from the hood. Soon after it started smoking and noticed some flames coming out of the vents in the interior. 5 minutes later, the entire vehicle was engulfed in flames, and thanks to the Portland Fire Fighter crews, they were able to spray down the raging inferno.

We hauled it to the back of the dealership and this is what it looked like.

The interior

These were the pictures taken for my lawsuit I am going to have with Subaru. Gresham Subaru is blaming everything on me since I have an aftermarket CAI, which they claim that the CAI got too hot, lit on fire, and ignited the car.

I am going to have my attorney deal with this, and the mean time I am going to buy an USA made car, a true muscle, and get rid of this piece of shit over hyped BitchRZ and FR-Sucks.
