What's this connector ?

Saw this behind the the head unit , it's 6 pin .. I think back up camera ? This is in an frs

It does plug in to the HU, well atleast there was one female connector on the HU it would fit in.. So that's why i assumed back up camera .

Looking to see if some of the guys that went aftermarket with their back up camera used it

Is there 2 6 pins back there then? I know the rear speaker out stuff is on a 6 pin. But the #1 pin is occupied where as blank in your picture.

It's the option connector and it's not long enough to reach your head unit. I think it's for the puddle-light option which isn't available in the US. You can use this to your advantage to grab power if you're installing a back-up cam or car cam. The connector has a ground, an accessory-fused socket and a battery-fused socket. I'm going to use it to power the Power-Magic Pro when I get my BlackVue dash cam.

Hey if you figure out a use for that connector, let me know. I might install a backup cam if it can be used.
