Catch Can & Lightweight Battery Solution by JDL Auto Design

With the lack of space in the engine bay and size of the OEM battery there really wasnt a good spot for a catch can that flowed well. With that said we came up with a product that will both drop weight and handle the PCV gasses. Mounting in the OEM location using the OEM hold down for a clean simple solution. Our prototype can is VTA but we will offer a recirculated option for those of you who want to be emissions friendly

Here are a few shots of the prototype. The production pieces will be CNC lasered and press brake. Questions ect?

Yes it is internally baffled. We have a drain bung on the bottom of that can that will also offer as a drain back port if you wish to drain it back into the the engine

The harness is hiding the port.

Awesome integration! I was thinking about this after I saw @robispec's total cooling solution.

Cost? Does it come with a battery? My stock battery has shit the bed, and my crawford AOS rattles like hell. This would solve both of those problems. LOL

Too much head unit testing?

Have you isolated the AOS from it's mounting points? A couple nylon washers should fix that problem.

Also in for battery specs. I wants moar CCA than these tiny batteries have.

LOL, I originally thought it was the head unit. But I swapped it in my other car for two weeks and it didn't kill the battery. I think I just got a bad one. It's been finicky from the start.

Hmm, I haven't tried nylon washers. I'll give that a go.

CCA? pfft, who needs CCA when it's below freezing outside... oh wait....

We did ours white to match the rest of our parts but we will also offer a few dif finish options. We can do them raw aluminum or pretty much any color powder coat your heart desires. Price will vary depending on finishing options
