Car fails to start.

Lately been having an issue with the car not starting. Would just sit there trying killing the starter .. Took a look at the starter, fuel lines, fuel itself, could not see any issue. Called some local 86s owners and said they haven't had this happened, so I was stumped. Forgot to mention the house I live in is like a 60 degree incline and it finally popped in my head the damn car has a stupid saddle bag tank and fuel wasn't reaching the engine :/

Owned so many cars and have never had this happen..

Interesting. At least it's an easy fix, just pull into the driveway backwards.

Did you resolve the issue or is your car dead in the driveway?

I hope 60 degrees is an exaggeration since that's 2/3 the way to vertical!

Yes, just let rode it down the driveway til i got to the street and turned on no problem. Wish they would of put a little bit better fuel pump maybe? But hasn't happened again, even when I tried to recreate it so I could make a video but started everytime.

The 1,200 pound Britsh Leyland challenge, where they had to drive up a 1/3 incline, put it in neutral, and have the car stay there via the handbrake?

This happens to me occasionally. It's a feature! Starts the 2nd time. I don't care since the car is healthy. Try priming the pump before ignition. Works for me..
