WTB: Factory Boxer Engine cover

As the title says, I need this cover. I had never taken it off and when I tried a couple of days ago, the cover was just loose sitting on top of the engine..

One of the tabs is broken ( I have no idea when or how was it broken).

Anyone that has replaced that cover wants to sell their OEM?

Thanks.

Shouldn't that be something the dealer could do for you if it was broken?

That's a good point... But I avoid dealer as much as I can, and how can I prove it was broken before I got it in June

I don't think you would have to prove it. If something OEM stock breaks, then they should replace under warranty. At least that's what I think.

My biggest problem with the dealer is that first time I went (to buy an exhaust bolt), the parts guy started talking shit on how I was voiding my warranty by adding aftermarket parts. I told him no sir, there is a federal act (Magnus-Moss) that says I voided my warranty only in the part I replaced not the whole car. He kept coming back saying no, any part voids the warranty of your whole car (which I know is complete BS, but I have no desire to waste energy in money grabbers). That dealer by itself is a good 30 minutes away, next closest one is 50 minutes to 1 hour away....As you can tell, I HATE dealers.

Fuckin idiots. I got lucky with my dealer. I went in with full headerback and still have full warranty

In case anyone else sees this, I'm also looking for one for the exact same reason. Tabs broken on mine, had never taken it off. Probably gonna paint it or something as well.

I've got one. Who ever needs it can have it. You just gotta pay the shipping. But if my OEM one was broken it would be a good excuse to get the JDM one - http://japanparts.com/db/parts_detai...=13&submit.y=9

Sorry bro. Thought Mods would be more present on their own threads.

Lookin at y'alls replies looked like you were taken care of and I was just offereing it to who ever was next in line. There's gotta be a rack of guys that have done the JDM cover by now and have these lying around.
