Blank Key Options
Does anybody know of some nice looking key blanks for the FR-S? Preferably without any buttons. So far all I can find is this:
http://www.autotransponder.com/2013_...chip_key_blank But that looks pretty boring and plastic feeling. |

Somewhat related -- does anyone know if it is possible to get a plain metal key (like this: http://imgur.com/iZFuTkY)? and keep a transponder key close to the ignition?
I had a car with a transponder key that broken (top broke off so it couldn't be attached to a keyring) so I taped it under the steering column and got a plain metal key copy and it worked. Last edited by rba; 05-05-2013 at 03:25 PM. |

Some Walmart can clone your key so you don't have to go to the dealer to get it programmed. The clones don't have they remote built in. $30-$60 each tho.

It doesn't have the remote but still has the transponder and is still bulky. But it's a good value. |

I'm looking for an option to get a high quality non bulky key, something that feels good in the fingers.
