I got rear ended... (Atlanta)

Well... I was on I-85S about to be at the I-85/I-75 connector. The cars in front of me slammed their brakes so I did as well. I stopped just in time and as the breath of relief came out of my mouth, BOOM! 2010 Toyota Camry rear ended my FR-S. I had been recently reading about accidents happening to people after about 1000 miles and I just hit 2000 yesterday. I am so bummed... Here's pictures for whoever is curious... I hope that the lady driving pays me for EVERYTHING! Including the new exhaust I put on yesterday...

It was pushed into the mid pipe so my mid pipe went from a smooth curve to a sharp "V" pretty much folded completely.

Everyone reading this thread needs to go to this website right now and purchase a Blinking Smart Stop! $30 may prevent this from happening to other 86ers. Our cars are too damn short and there are too many damn distracted drivers out there.

Really sorry about this man. I hope you get it repaired ASAP. Here's a link to the WORKS midpipe. With any luck your insurer will agree to replace your OEM with that one and you'll get an upgrade out of this very unfortunate accident.

So sad. Keep in mind, a defensive driver is the best driver.
