Enkei RPF1 Center Caps

I am considering a set of Enkei RPF1 17x8 +45 wheels for my FR-S, and I noticed that they do not come with a center cap. The Enkei center caps are $100 option for a set of 4. This is really expensive for center caps, and IMHO the Enkei caps are UGLY, especially since I am interested in gold wheels. Perhaps this is why center caps are not included with these wheels. I really think center caps would be a good idea to keep out some of the dirt as I would be using these wheels on the street.

Can the original Scion center caps be used? This worked with my (former) BMW with some aftermarket wheels.

I have seen online that some people paint Honda OE center caps, but the fit does not seem great.

Does anyone know of any other options?

I doubt the bore sizes are the same, but check and see! If not, I'm sure you can modify it to fit somehow

I run mine without caps. I think it looks fine given the styling of the RPF1.

Somewhat ghetto but worth a shot

I too have this issue and may give the ghetto solution a try. I quite like the look w/out the caps though.

I am not so concerned about the looks, I just want a little extra protection for the hubs.

I like the solution posted above, but I think I'll brainstorm to find a better alternative to blue painter's tape.

Spray the back side (including clips) with plastidip, problem solved.

I used Honda accord centers. They fit fine. Bought 4 used for $10 on eBay.

I'm all up for the DIY, I think it's a great idea. Especially since it will save you money AND you can put any emblem/vinyl design on the cap you want...which makes it that much more unique.

I'm leaning towards the metal knock out plugs since they can be powder coated to an exact match of my wheels (wheels were coated).
