And just another Armrest (actually 2 of them).

Well - at first then I took delivery of my FRS I was like - what the hell - no armrest? Really? It was strange feeling - because im used to rest my elbow - especialy on the longer journeys... Sooo - it was just the matter of time until I will get one done for my FRS.. And as I see more and more request about armrest here - I would like to hear everyones thought about options / needs - because im thinking to bring these 2 in full production...

Option 1 - its already in the makings - will be made from either ABS plastic or FRP (cant tell which option yet - because still calculating all the pricings) will be covered in leather (with or without red stiching?) and will open up from front. Will come with cup holder on the back (not possible to hit it with your elbow while shifting - already been tried - and as im 6.5 foot - so I have not the shortest arms - so I already tried everything on this cup holder )

Will come with hinges / templates ready to install - all you will need is to just simply screw 2 self screwing screws and that's it.

Option 2 - no cup holder - and opening to the passenger side only. Will be available in leather OR Carbon fiber. Hinges on the side - so install will be pretty easy too - just 4 screws. Stock cup holder can still be used once its armrest lifted up.

Well - here are my 2 options - if you have any requests / ideas you would like to share - just share them here.

I will try and keep pricing as low as possible - so MIGHT drop the idea of stitching (to keep price low), but still will use REAL leather (Im mostly using BMW or Porsche leather) OR Sway options will be also available.

option 2 reminds me of the RX-8 a little, maybe incorporate a slide back design or something because i loved my RX-8 armrest hehe...

#1 is cool too but definitely will get it if wrapped in leather.. I'm for both designs leather wrapped with matching red stitching. Maybe incorporate a "hole" for cords for AUX or charging wires?

...mmm Sorry - don't know how to call them (English isn't my main language ) they are the screws that don't need any drilling - just screws with like 'drill bit on the tip' and they just drill hole once you screw them... We just call them self screwing screws (not in English of course - so I translated it 'straight by words'...)

Hope this makes sence?

You will be able to run wires at the front of the armrest - cuz there will be little space left (just for the wires) at the very front of the armrest.

I was just kidding...and they're self tapping screws. Arm rests look great though. Best design (by far) that I've seen yet...
