What Street Prepared class?

Where do you think they will put the Twins in Street Prepared?

I have a company that wants to make ITB's for the car, and use mine to test them.

I don't know if the car can compete in DSP?

Maybe FSP?

Seriously, I don't think the car will be competitive in an SP class...

You have to write a letter proposing it to be classed in SP, then it will go out for member comment and eventually voted on, I believe. Until then, it's straight to SM.

I would rally for it to be classed in DSP...

If I remember correctly the rulebooks says CSP for sports cars under 2.0L NOC. I'll have to look it up once I get back to a real computer.

One of the biggest factors that goes into SP classing is "update-backdate", where you can pick & choose the best mechanical pieces & options from any model on the same line in the rulebook. This gives the Miatas in CSP & BMWs in DSP an almost infinite number of options for engines, transmissions, rear diffs, options packages, etc.

That all being said, the BRZ/FRS can't take advantage of that rule due to how new the cars are, so I see it being more of a DSP car than a CSP car...& unlike STX, I think even a well-prepped BRZ will have a tough time keeping up with the BMWs, at least initially.

It would be cool to see one with ITBs & flared out with 285/30-18 Hoosier A6s at all 4 corners though!
