Hmm.. I'm not liking the mini piston heads on top of the big piston heads. To be honest, we all love the 86 logo and it's boxer pistons but it's shape makes it really hard to blend into an oval shaped badge.

Maybe take out the pistons and keep the 86 circle? Not sure how to do it but maybe you can do something with it.

maybe extend the pistons past the oval? that way the 86 portion will fill out the center abit better

+1. Besides, the Toyota badge just looks so right on this car I don't mean to stifle your creativity, though!

this is very easy to do.

i will cost a lot though to make the initial mold.

i can manufacture these but i need to see first the market for these before i pull the trigger

How about just the 86 and the circle around it inside the oval? A lot cleaner.

If you build it, they will come.

Take that either way ya want but I'm holding out on removing the Scion badges until a good 86 badge gets made. If you make one and offer it I'd be all over it

So I've been looking into something similar, as far as making a custom badge.

A couple options you have, none of which will be cheap.

1) make a model of exactly what you want, usually out of fiberglass, and have a mold made. Then have the emblems poured. Only way to make it worthwhile is to do a group buy and make a bunch of them.

2) is to have your pic made, then have a machine shop mill one out of a solid piece of metal from a computer controlled milling machine. (Kinda like the ones you see that make custom wheels in a shroud on tv)
