red or white? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

hi guys from cape town, have a issue want to place order for 86 but havent seen red one here in cape town seen all other colours but really keen on either red or white, but dont wana wait forever to place order. can anyone tell me wat type of red it is caus all pics look so different. some look bright others look really light. mayb with reference to other cars red would be good. thanks

I've only seen one red and it was a solid, bright red. Looks nice.

I have the red and there is no metalic in it; nothing like candy apple. I think a term for it might be Chinese red. It's not my favorite red but I like it. My favorite of all the colors is white but I just have a thing about pearl white, I can't stand it. But, that's my hang-up and no one else's. What ever color you get you'll surely love the ride. there is a red one in blouberg, near "Blue Peter" and "Ons se huisie"

That's an excellent description of the red.

I had a red "loaner" until my dark grey arrived.

I didn't want a red but as stated if you like red cars the 86 red is very nice. A nice bright darker red without being too candy. Not many better reds around IMHO.

I think Toyota and Subaru did a great job with the range of colours as it looks good in all of them even though people at have a personal preference for a particular colour.

but how about our NZ cricket team on your shores at the moment. Apologies to any of you that bought tickets to watch them play!
