Weird that an oil cooler didn't come stock on these?

I mean ae86 back in the 80's had one.

probalby because that car needed one and this car doesnt. or the ae86 was crazy expensive and the frs isnt that overpriced.

For street use I've seen no reason to have one... Track is different.. I've heard extreme coolant and oil temps in just a hand full of laps

Cheap insurance for track duty.

For street it is a waste of money.

These cars naturally run warm, if you plan to track it we highly suggest this or the HKS oil cooler. Both kits can be had for under $900.

I would rather not have an oil cooler. It's just more cost, weight, complexity, and potential for engine failure. If that thing gets punctured and starts seeping oil, you're done. It has happened numerous times in racing.

But... why does Gushi get the nice HID headlamps!?

I'd just built a Setrab oil cooler myself with AN fittings and sleeved hoses... and still come out on top... like a bawwws. lol
