Air filters

Greeting fellow Africa 86''s, compliments to the season to you all.

Been looking at various air filters and wondered if anyone has replaced OEM and had any significant increase in performance.
The works air filter has indicated increase of 10hp with straight drop in and no tuning needed. Is this available in SA?

Also very curious about this. Take delivery in four days time (think I'm developing a twitch I've been waiting so long).
Am running k&n on my other car and very happy with it, would love to know how they perform in the 86.
10hp seems a bit far fetched though, even after reading the other thread. Anyone got any Hp stats up here at altitude?

Have you tried the works filter, is there noticeable difference. Pity I did not see this, as would have ordered with the armrest.

Can't really consider this yet as I don't even have the car yet
But for when I do have it, as Ryan says, price sounds reasonable, what would shipping to SA cost?

I ordered other items from him, $34 shipping to your door USPS priority international. Expect a further R150 customs and vat.

Zeta performance silicone intake

Going to give this a try
Silicone intake pipe with Works filter. Definitely will go do a Dyno before and after to check results.

nice Ryan...let us know the Dyno results. I was looking at the Takeda intake a few days ago. They also say a 9hp increase. Waiting for someone else to test this.

Wonder if we could get a list of things that Toyota say we're allowed to change to aftermarket parts that don't void the warranty? And in writing

These are purely performance parts with no modifications, so should not be an issue, however I will just change back to OEM for services as these parts are simple drop in.
10hp extra, I'd love to get that and crossing fingers.
