I can't imagine a lot of forged builds for N/A... The stock internals are plenty strong for a big N/A build. But I agree. I can't wait to see what people put down with this thing.

That is until you start seeing 13.5:1 compression ratios and 10K RPM's

so what exactly is a short block? is it simply engine components without the head and oil pan etc or is there difference in compression ratios and
crankshafts etc?

I'm tempted to buy that short block off ebay...wish i could afford the Crawford setup though. The only thing that's stopping me is that I don't really need the pistons, rods, crank, bearings etc...they'd be nice to have as spares, but I figure i will be building it up with lower compression parts than stock...now we just need to wait for someone to drop some nice heads...that's where the magic will happen!
