stock speaker Wattage and Freq Response?

does any one know the specs of the stock ft86 door speakers? i know they are the 6.5", but how about max Wattage and freq response.
Ive just got 1 of my Kicker DS60 in, and doing a comparison on sound quality with the stock speaker. Seems the stock speaker is giving heavier bass, but less mid and highs. The kick ds60 dsnt seem to have any bass at all, their spec'd at 43hz - 20khz.
Just wondering whether its the speakers or if i failed the installation. One thing it may be wrong is i havent put any sound dampening foam around the spacer and speaker mount. but its already fairly tight.

probably the instal. If you are getting lots of air around the back of the kicker you won't get much bass

If I recall correctly the door speakers are just woofers, so they won't be producing much, if any, mids or highs. They are also 2-ohm I believe, so if your replacement speakers are 4-ohm then they are getting 1/2 the power of the factory door speakers which wasn't much to begin with and would explain why they don't have much "punch".
