blizzak ws70 tire pressure

i recently had a set of 205/55R16 ws70 mounted with the tpms all set up. While driving the past Friday, the tpms indicator went off and so I went ahead and add the pressure to the recommended 35 psi. The tpms light was still on.. so i checked online at tirerack and it says the max pressure is 44 psi and so i added it to 44 psi, yet the light was still on. Anyone with similar problems? Maybe I need to have the tpms reset?

New TPMS sensors need to be learned to the car, and it will forget the old ones. They will have to dismount the new tires to get to the codes on the sensors, then remount and rebalance them, and MAKE SURE THEY TAKE DOWN THE OLD CODES BEFORE THEY CLEAR THEM! because if they are not written down, they will have to dismount, remount, and balance the summer tires as well when they put them back on.

What he said. Sensors need to be programmed. Also let some air out...a few psi on winter tires shouldn't be a problem (recommended depending on who you talk to), but 9 psi over is pushing it.
