Tire pressure warning on

I took the car to the dealer this morning (for them to run diagnostics on crickets issue) and now the light is on. Is there something I can do or should I just wait until they get my parts?

Do you have OEM wheels with the sensors? If so, I would start by checking tire pressures. Nothing says you didn't run over a nail on the way home.

Stock wheels/tires, never been removed from the vehicle.

I checked the pressure--all set the same around 30 psi.

It was fine this morning on the way to the dealer, it just came on when I turned the car on after leaving.

IIRC, stock pressure is 35psi all around? I also think the sensors stock will go off if the pressure is +/- 3 psi from what they want for pressure.

Check the manual or door sticker, it'll tell you what the pressure should be for sure.

My tires were at 32 psi and tire pressure light came on occasionally. So I took my car to the dealer and they said tires should be at 35psi so they filled it up and reset the sensor and lights are off now.
But it is strange how at 32psi, the light would come on.

I filled them up to 35 and the light was on for about 10 minutes before going out. Strange but crisis averted. Sorry for the waste of the post, I guess the cold front that blew through had an effect on the tire pressure.

Your tire pressure changes roughly 1 PSI for every 10 degrees of temperature. It is probably colder now than when the tires were originally inflated. If they were originally inflated to 32psi @ 80F and now it's 50F outside guess what... they're probably at 29psi or close to it. Voila, TPMS light will come.

I'm sure it's in the manual but does anyone know if the spare tire has a TPMS sensor it in? My dad's CRV did this. His TPMS light was on and it was caused by the spare tire being too low.

Rule of the obvious: "XYZ warning light on" -> bring XYZ to correct specs.
30 psi will trigger the light.
