Anyone an Idea what that liquid is?

I've just wanted to take some pictures from the engine bay for an diy today, and noticed some greenish liquid around some part of the engine bay. Anyone has a clue what this is?

Its in mainly in the middle to right side of the engine bay (if you stand infront of the car) and if you touch it its a bit sticky, a bit like spilled coke or something.

I've checked coolant fluid, but this is ok, its also no oil or hydraulics as far as I can tell.
I havent put even 1000miles on the car, so no hard driving or extensive long driving or anything happend to blow something.

I cant take it to the dealer currently, as we got snow on the streets. However, I'm still curious if this is some "sealing" spray of any kind, or if something is leaking and I should be worried.

Either UV dye or degreaser.

Engine coolant is blue in this car.

That's 100% AC dye/lube. You've got a leak from somewhere. Take her down to the dealer.

This could also be preserving wax. When I look at my engine, it looks like this.
Did you notice a burning smell after you've driven your car? (smell like hard working clutch)

Sorry for my bad english.

look at this thread : http://forum.gt86drivers.de/index.ph...d&threadID=634

Thanks for all your answers

turned out that Maik L is right, it seems to be a preserving wax used to ensure oversea shipping is not harming the metal pices of the engine/drivetrain.
After closer inspection, I've noticed that the liquid is only "spilled" on metal parts, not on plastic. So if it would be a leak, it should be all over everything, not only on the metal parts. I've also found the drivetrain being full uf the stuff.
I've also checked with 2 other GT86 owners around here, looks the same in their engine bay.

I'm just a bit confused the dealer didnt make me aware of this when i picked up the car. Either I'm overreacting and just being paranoid if something in my engine bay looks like spilled fluid, or other people do not look under the hood (or care) at all. However it seems that they dont get alot of customers asking them about this.

Thanks again for your help guys.
